Super Bowl Ad

Hero Salute has posted the Anheuser-Busch ad from the Super Bowl, which thanks the troops for their service. In case you missed it.

Hat tip to Little Green Footballs.

UPDATE: Just what the hell does THIS mean??? From a Reuters article on the Super Bowl ads:

"Budweiser did best with the patriotic sentimentality," said [Mark DiMassimo of DiMassimo Carr Brand Advocates]. "In theory, I don't like the idea but it was well done and somehow rang true."

"Somehow" rang true??? Doesn't like the idea "in theory"??? I wonder if he could explain exactly what, in theory, he doesn't like about thanking our troops? The cynics will say its just an effort to sell a few more beers, but I see no problem in just saying "thanks." And its not as if A-B doesn't support the troops in tangible ways as well, not that they have to in order to say thanks.

WELCOME to Corner readers. Mr. DiMassimo was kind enough to explain himself in my comments. Check it out, and please give him the benefit of the doubt.

ANOTHER UPDATE: For more "patriotic sentimentality," check out this montage. Takes a while to download, but well worth it.
